Design Review Process Countryside has put a design reviews process in place to ensure that the neighborhood remains a pleasant community that everyone can enjoy. These rules were developed by the homeowner’s association and cover the following areas:
In order to maintain the neighborhood to the benefit of all residents, homeowners must have their plans submitted to and approved in writing by the Architectural Review Committee. Who sits on the committee? The design review request committee consists of three members of the Countryside community who have volunteered their time to be part of the process for a one year term. If there are a larger number of volunteers than the committee can allow, an election will be scheduled during a homeowners association meeting. How long does the design review process take? Committee members meet regularly to review requests. All requests that have been submitted three days in advance of their meeting, can be reviewed at that time. What Information does the committee need? The committee will need a completed design review request form. In addition, the committee will need specifications that show exterior design, height, materials, color, and location of the improvements, and type of fencing, walls, windbreaks and grading plan, as well as such other materials and information Where can I obtain a copy of the design review request form: Click below to download a copy of the design review committee request form: Where can I submit the design review request form: Submit the form to the address below: Countryside at Frederick Homeowners' Association
